1 Dead in Head-on Semi-Truck Collision on FL-924

Hialeah, FL – The driver of a pickup truck was killed after colliding head-first with an Amazon semi-truck at the junction of Florida State Road 924 and State Road 826, Local 10 News reports.

Florida Highway Patrol report that the accident happened around 5:20AM when the Amazon 18-wheeler entered the ramp that connects the Forida State Road 924, or the Gratigny, with the Palmetto Expressway.  The semi-truck crashed into a red Dodge pick up truck, which was traveling in the wrong direction on the highway.

The driver of the pickup truck has not been identified and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The Amazon truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
