Two-vehicle crash on Seven Mile Bridge kills 85-year-old woman in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, FL – An 85-year-old woman’s life was claimed following a Monday car crash on the Seven Mile Bridge in Monroe County. WSTP said a silver Maserati and a black Volkswagen SUV on the US 1. The SUV was in front, and the Maserati was behind. In a no-pass zone, the Maserati had attempted to pass the SUV but failed and ended up hitting the SUV. The SUV driver’s name was not released.
