SARASOTA, FL – A 47-year-old man from Sarasota died when his SUV collided with a boat trailer on I-75 Sunday, ABC 7 reports.
Police say the accident happened around 10:20 p.m. near the junction of I-75 and FL-72. They say the SUV was headed north on I-75 when it collided with the boat trailer on a pickup truck. The impact of the collision threw the driver of the SUV from his vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say that the pickup truck had five occupants, none of whom were hurt.
