Sumter Co, FL – Two people died when an SUV crashed into three other vehicles on CR-48 in Sumter County last Friday night, reports WFLA.
Police said the accident occurred around 7 PM when a 30-year-old man driving an SUV eastbound veered off road, overcorrected, and then hit a 19-year-old’s car and two other vehicles that were traveling west.
The man driving the SUV was thrown from his vehicle. Both he and the teenager died at the scene of the accident. The other drivers involved in the wreck sustained serious injuries.
Police have not named the parties involved but have shared that the driver of the SUV was from Bushnell, and the teenager was from Spring Hill.
