MARTIN COUNTY, FL- Four people were killed in a horrific crash on Tuesday near southbound Federal Highway and Northwest Baker Rd, WPTV reports.
This incident occurred when a Tesla tore into a minivan at the intersection, around 12:30p.m.
Several witnesses saw the scene and recounted to WPTV that they witnessed the Tesla flip over the van and catch on fire. It was described as a scene of massive destruction.
One witness tried to help the trapped passengers in both vehicles. He was able to assist a woman in the van, but was limited in his ability to assist the teenagers in the Tesla.
The Florida Highway Patrol also assisted in the attempted rescue of those involved.
