Narrative
A 93 year-old female passenger was killed when her vehicle was struck by a Jeep that failed to stop at stop sign at S. Adelle Ave. on March 21st. The 2018 Ford Transit van that the victim was in was driving on West Beresford Road around 6:21p.m. when it was hit on the side by the 2006 Jeep Liberty. This Jeep had been driving on S. Adelle Ave. when it did not completely brake at a stop sign and collided with the Ford’s left side. The Ford, after being struck, was then pushed into a traffic sign and a pole. This vehicle contained the main victim and an injured driver. The driver was hospitalized with severe injuries and the passenger died at the scene. The at-fault driver was also hospitalized, but with minor injuries.
