Narrative

FORT MYERS, FL – A man using a wheelchair succumbed to fatal injuries when he got hit by a black SUV after going against traffic at Winkler Avenue and Colonial Boulevard Sunday. This collision happened before 11:30 p.m. Despite life-saving efforts from the driver and first responders, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are pending.
