DAVIE, FL – A tanker truck driver sustained serious burns after their tanker truck crashed and caught on fire on I-595 Thursday. This collision happened in the area of Pine Island and Nob Hill Road. Florida Highway Patrol said the crash was brought on when the truck tire appeared to have gotten a flat and when the driver lost control of the truck. Troopers shut down the westbound lanes to clear the scene.
