WIMAUMA, FL – A 62-year-old man from Illinois lost his life after he tried to cross U.S. 301 and was hit by a GMC SUV Monday. The unidentified man succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. It is unclear if he was using a crosswalk or was jaywalking when he was in “the path of the SUV.” No pending charges have been reported.
