Narrative
NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – An 18-year-old woman driving an unspecified vehicle lost her life after she crashed into a tree and then an unoccupied SUV Saturday.
The events of the collision began at around 11:25, when the unidentified woman, for reasons unclear, lost control of her vehicle, leading it to drift off Bayshore Road, rotate, and then collide with a tree.
NBC-2 said the back of her automobile came off, leading her to hit the stationary SUV outside of a home on the 1410 block of Lincoln Avenue.
She succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
Florida Highway Patrol launched an investigation and has not released other details at this time.
