Narrative
LEHIGH ACRES, FL – A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were hospitalized following a motorcycle crash on Monday in Lehigh Acres.
The incident occurred at 5:36 p.m. on the eastbound side of Lee Boulevard near Colin Avenue North, which is on the west side of the city.
Police say that the victims were travelling eastbound on their motorcycle when they rear-ended a car near the intersection. The motorcycle caught fire, and the two motorcyclists were ejected.
The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.
At this time, it’s unclear what caused the collision. A full investigation is underway.
