Narrative
ORLANDO, FL – One teen died, and another sustained critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash at a busy Orlando intersection on Monday.
The incident happened at 12:34 a.m. along International Drive near Tanglewood Bay Drive, which is just south of Sea World Orlando.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a southbound vehicle lost control and crashed the car. The vehicle hit a concrete sign along the roadway and overturned.
The 16-year-old driver died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported a 16-year-old passenger to the hospital with serious injuries.
