Narrative
SUNRISE, FL – A two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in east-central Broward County killed three adults and one child on Sunday.
The accident happened around 6:40 a.m. at West Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 64th Avenue, which is just south of Lauderhill Towne Centre Library.
Police say that two vehicles collided as one of the cars was making a U-turn on West Oakland Park Boulevard. The other car was speeding when it hit the car making the U-turn.
The victims in the second car became entrapped and required extrication. All four of them died, including a child. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
The driver of the speeding vehicle required hospitalization for head injuries.
