Narrative
LOXAHATCHEE, FL – One person died Monday morning following a collision between a vehicle and a scooter in Loxahatchee.
The accident happened just after 3 a.m. in the area of Southern Boulevard and Arden Lake Way, which is just west of Storm Water Treatment Area East.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash, which killed the scooter rider at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
Medics transported the driver of the vehicle to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Officials closed the eastbound lanes of Southern Boulevard while crews worked to clear the scene.
