Car crash kills driver, injuries 1 in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, FL – After a driver lost control of his vehicle on West Sunrise Boulevard, he crashed into another car and died Sunday.

South Florida Sun-Sentinel said the crash happened on the 3800 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, east of State Road 7. The time of the crash was not reported. Police are unsure why the driver lost control of his car and why he jumped the median.

It is unclear if the driver died at the scene or a hospital, but the driver of the other car was transported to the hospital.

The police have not released the victims’ identities.

This is an ongoing investigation.

A section of West Sunrise Boulevard had to close and may have reopened.
