MIAMI LAKES, FL – A fatal car crash killed one person near the Palmetto Expressway before 6 am Wednesday, WSVN reports.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes of Northwest 57th Avenue and 167th Street when a Chevy mini-van collided with another car.
Following the crash, the Florida High Way Patrol troops closed the eastbound exit before Red Road and nearby areas. Emergency responders contemplated the details of the fatal crash for many hours.
One emergency responder team included the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to help open the impacted vehicles so that a medical examiner could access at least one victim that was killed.
