Car fire crash kills one person on Northwest 103rd in Miami

MIAMI, FL – A car fire claimed the life of one person in Northwest 103rd Street Friday morning, the Miami Herald said.

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers said a silver Lexus Sedan driver lost control of the steering wheel and traveled off course.

The vehicle managed to drive through a guardrail, then swerved off the road, engulfing the car in flames. The incident trapped the driver, and they did not survive.

Authorities did not state if the driver was impaired. Following the accident, the southbound lanes of I-95 closed and reopened at 9:40 am.
