Narrative
LAKESIDE, FL – A woman operating a sedan was left dead after she failed to yield to traffic while turning left, leading her to crash into an SUV before 2 p.m. Tuesday. This deadly wreck happened at the Bolton Road and Blanding Boulevard intersection. The SUV hit the right side of the sedan. Officials said the SUV driver — an 18-year-old man — was driving on northbound Blanding in the center lane at the time of the crash. First responders rushed the drivers to HCA Florida Orange Park. There, the woman succumbed to fatal injuries.
