Narrative
TAMPA, FL – An unidentified Hispanic man in his 20s succumbed to fatal injuries when his Kawasaki motorcycle collided with the driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe turning left Saturday. This collision took place before 4:15 p.m. on the 1100 block of West Sligh Avenue along ZooTampa at Lowry Park. Tampa Police said the motorcyclist was going west on Sligh Avenue, and the other driver was eastbound at the time of the crash. They speculate that speed could have been a contributing factor in this wreck. The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. The Hyundai driver remained at the scene; there are no pending charges.
