APOPKA, FL – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a collision involving a garbage truck in Apopka. Police say the garbage truck was turning left from Sheeler Avenue onto Semoran Boulevard when it collided with the northbound motorcyclist. The rider, an unidentified 57-year-old man, was taken to AdventHealth Apopka Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later on. No one else was reportedly injured in the crash.
