Narrative
A 17 year-old female driver was turning left onto Golden Gate Parkway when an incoming southbound truck hit the passenger side of her vehicle, injuring everyone in her car on March 17th. After being hit, the struck vehicle flipped over. It landed in the intersection and that is where the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the call. The young driver and her three male passengers, two aged 13 and one aged 10, all had to be hospitalized at North Collier Regional Hospital. One of the 13 year-old boys succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital. In the other vehicle, there was an adult male driver and a 3 year-old child. Neither was injured in the crash.
