Head-on crash in Orange County puts person in hospital

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A head-on collision between a car and a train injured a person around 12pm Monday in Orange County.

Wesh 2 News said the crash happened on Horatio Avenue and Maitland Avenue. The car was traveling west on Horatio when it slammed into the train.

The cause of the crash is unknown. Police have not released the driver’s identity; however, they did say the driver was transported to a hospital for unspecified injuries.

No one on the train was harmed in the crash.
