MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A hit-and-run driver struck a cyclist on I-75 in Manatee County Wednesday, WWSB reported.
The crash happened around 2:30 am near Moccasin Wallow Road.
Florida Highway Patrol speculated the hit-and-run driver was operating a black or dark gray vehicle. Due to the crash, the car has side mirror and headlight damage.
The cyclist, whose name was not identified, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
