PANAMA CITY, FL – At least two people were injured after a box truck hauling ice overturned in northern Panama City this weekend, according to information from WMBB.
The collision happened Sunday afternoon on the 23rd Street underpass, when a box truck hauling pallets of ice rounded a curve in the roadway, then overturned. The truck may have been going too fast to navigate the turn, according to the report.
The two occupants of the vehicle received minor injuries in the collision but were ultimately expected to be okay.
Traffic was impacted for several hours as crews worked to upright the heavy vehicle.
