ALVA, FL – At least one person was hurt Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in northwest Lee County.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Palm Beach Boulevard, or FL-80, in the city of Alva. Police haven’t yet provided a cross street for the collision.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident or the number of people involved. Authorities have reported serious injuries in connection to the crash, which they say caused a vehicle to overturn.
Officials closed lanes on both sides of Palm Beach Boulevard while emergency teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the wreckage.
