BAY COUNTY, FL – A man was killed and three other people, including two children, sustained severe injuries in a collision in northwestern Bay County on Friday morning, according to information from WMBB.
The collision happened south of Ebro on State Highway 79 near Pinelog Road at around 6:30 a.m., when the driver of a southbound 2010 Chevrolet sedan, a 31-year-old man from Bonifay, crossed over the center median and into the northbound lanes of traffic. There, he collided with a 2014 Audi SUV.
The man driving the Chevrolet was pronounced dead after the crash.
The driver of the Audi, a 39-year-old woman from Princeton, Tex., was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Also taken to the hospital with critical injuries were two of her passengers, a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl, both of Princeton, Tex.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
