JACKSONVILLE, FL- One person was injured and another killed when a car pushed them into another vehicle at a light on Friday, NEWS4JAX reports.
A Honda motorcycle carried a 49 year-old male and a 51 year-old woman as it stopped at a light at the Southside Blvd and Beach Blvd intersection at 9:15p.m.
A Cadillac CTS was in front of the motorcycle when a 41 year-old man driving a Nissan Sentra drove into the motorcycle from behind. The motorcycle was subsequently crushed between both vehicles.
The male motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, died at Memorial Hospital. His passenger, who did not have a helmet on, remains at the same hospital in serious condition.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The driver of the Sentra has charges pending for the role played in the accident.
