CLEARWATER, FL – A head-on crash between a car and motorcycle left a motorcyclist seriously injured in Clearwater Monday night, IONTB reported.
The collision happened around 8:47 pm on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Belcher Road. The cause of the crash is unclear, but Clearwater Police did say the 41-year-old motorcyclist was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he remains in critical condition.
It is unknown if the driver suffered injuries. The crash remains under investigation, and the westbound lanes on Gulf-to-Bay were blocked off at the time of reporting.
