PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A woman operating a wheelchair was hit by a white Jeep and later died in Tarpon Springs Wednesday.
The collision occurred at US-19, where the woman tried to cross in an area where there was no crosswalk, ABC Action News revealed.
The Jeep driver will not face charges since he or she has obeyed all traffic laws.
The woman in the wheelchair was hospitalized for her injuries and later pronounced dead.
