WALTON COUNTY, FL – A Thursday afternoon solo-vehicle crash seriously injured a 24-year-old man and claimed a 23-year-old woman’s life in Walton County.
The collision happened on the westbound lanes of I-10 before 2 pm, WEAR-TV reported. For some unknown reason, a sedan traveled off course and hit a tree.
The car became engulfed in flames.
The woman succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene, while the man suffered life-threatening injuries.
The crash is being investigated.
