LAKE COUNTY, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after getting hit by a car on Florida’s Turnpike in Lake County Friday.
According to WFTV, the pedestrian was struck after the driver lost control of their SUV and crashed into the side of the road.
The driver sustained no injuries and remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
