Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car in Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, FL – A female pedestrian’s life was claimed after getting hit by a car Friday in Orange Park, News 4 JAX reported. 

The collision occurred on Blanding Boulevard and Parkwood Drive around 10 pm. The car drove after the green traffic light came on. The pedestrian was walking when she did not have the right of way, and the car hit her. 

The Sedan driver and the passengers – three children, all under eight years old – were unharmed. 

The pedestrian, a 33-year-old woman, was transported to HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
