Narrative
A 7 year-old boy died after going into a moving truck’s path on N. Pine Hills Rd. on April 2nd. The accident left the truck driver seriously injured as well. Reports indicate that three other people were also injured and treated from this crash, but no information is known as to how they were involved. At 3:25p.m., the boy went off a path and into the road that the truck was on. The truck had a green light at this intersection of North Pine Hills Road and Dolores Drive. There was not sufficient time for the truck to move, and it hit the boy. The boy was thrown from the bike while the truck was sent towards the right. The vehicle hit two curbs, a rock, and a business sign before stopping several front lawns away from the scene of the crash. The truck was driven by a 36 year-old man. The child died at the hospital while the man was hospitalized as well with major injuries.
