Teenage boy dead, one man seriously hurt in rollover crash in DeSoto County

DESOTO COUNTY, FL – A 19-year-old man was critically injured, and a 15-year-old teenage boy was left dead after a single-car crash Sunday. 

The collision occurred on County Road 769, NBC-2 reported. The vehicle, for reasons unknown, traveled off course and crashed into a gutter. 

The car went airborne and collided with a tree before flipping over. 

Both victims were hospitalized. The driver is being treated for unspecified injuries, and the 15-year-old succumbed to his injuries and later died at a hospital.
