Teenage driver injuries three cyclists in Pinellas County

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A 16-year-old driver hit three cyclists at Trinity Boulevard in Pinellas County Thursday morning,  Tampa FP reported.

Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around around 8:29 am. The teenage girl was driving South on East Lake Road, stopped at the intersection on Trinity Boulevard, turned left into the bikeway path, and collided with the three cyclists.

The cyclists were two men and one woman in their 60s who suffered significant injuries and were taken to local hospitals. It is unknown if the teenage girl sustained injuries or if charges were made.
