Midway, FL – A 47-year-old male pedestrian was killed on Wednesday when a tow truck driver ran into him on the westbound side of the Blue Star Highway just south of I-10 and Oochlocknee Point Drive, reports WTXL Tallahassee.
Police say the incident happened after 5pm when the 49-year-old driver of the tow truck struck the pedestrian, who had been walking along the shoulder. The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.
Police have not named the parties involved in the accident but have shared that the pedestrian lived in Marianna, while the driver of the truck was from Blountstown.
