SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – A 73-year-old woman and 68-year-old woman’s lives were claimed in a crash on SR-776 in Englewood Monday.
The collision happened before 7 pm, My SunCoast reported.
The 73-year-old woman stopped at the stop sign at the intersection. A 25-year-old man was driving an SUV. The woman then went through the intersection, and her vehicle crashed into the SUV.
The 25-year-old man and a passenger with him suffered life-threatening injuries.
The 73-year-old woman and the 68-year-old woman succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene.
