Two injured in single vehicle rollover crash in Orange County

Driver, 26, killed in crash involving semi-truck in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL – A driver collided with a semi-truck and was killed Monday afternoon, News 6 WKMG reported.  The collision happened at 12:50 pm between Oak Ridge Road and Rio Grande Avenue. Florida Highway Patrol State Troopers said the 26-year-old male driver was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry on Oak Ridge Road when his vehicle swerved into the westbound lane and crashed into the oncoming semi-truck.  The Camry driver was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died, said the Orange County Fire Rescue. Head-on crash in Orange County puts person in hospital

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – A head-on collision between a car and a train injured a person around 12pm Monday in Orange County. Wesh 2 News said the crash happened on Horatio Avenue and Maitland Avenue. The car was traveling west on Horatio when it slammed into the train. The cause of the crash is unknown. Ocoee Driver Hits Pole and Building, Killing Passenger

Ocoee, FL – A fatal accident occurred on Wurst Road Thursday morning when an unnamed driver veered off course and ran into a pole and the wall of a storage unit, reports The Orange Observer. Police say the accident happened around 1:30AM as the driver was heading west on Wurst in the vicinity of Jamela. The passenger, whom police have not named, died while receiving treatment at Health Central Hospital – Orlando Health. The driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for serious injuries. Authorities say that the crash is under investigation with The Ocoee Police Traffic Homicide Unit.
