MIAMI, FL – A 3-month-old baby died, and four others were injured on Sunday in a two-car accident on the northbound side of the Turnpike in Miami-Dade, reports NBC 6. Police say the accident occurred around 3:15 a.m. when the front of a Toyota sedan collided with the rear of a Ford sedan near Quail Roost Drive. An adult occupant of the Ford says his car was pulled to the side of the road due to engine trouble at the time of the collision. MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A Miami Gardens crash on Northwest 17th Avenue and 171st Street left two people injured around 3:45 pm Thursday. According to WSVN, eight people were involved in the crash. The details of the impact, however, remain a mystery. Video footage, however, showed two vehicles stacked on a tow truck where the accident took place. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A single-vehicle crash left a woman hospitalized Sunday, NBC Miami reported. The collision occurred on Northwest 87th Avenue and Okeechobee Road. A woman drove her car into the Medley canal, attempting to take her own life, Medley Police said. Police were able to take the woman out of the submerged car. MIAMI, FL – A car fire claimed the life of one person in Northwest 103rd Street Friday morning, the Miami Herald said. Florida Highway Patrol Troopers said a silver Lexus Sedan driver lost control of the steering wheel and traveled off course. The vehicle managed to drive through a guardrail, then swerved off the road, engulfing the car in flames. The incident trapped the driver, and they did not survive.
