MIAMI, FL – A car fire claimed the life of one person in Northwest 103rd Street Friday morning, the Miami Herald said. Florida Highway Patrol Troopers said a silver Lexus Sedan driver lost control of the steering wheel and traveled off course. The vehicle managed to drive through a guardrail, then swerved off the road, engulfing the car in flames. The incident trapped the driver, and they did not survive. MIAMI, FL – Three people died and two were critically injured in a two-vehicle collision on State Road 836 in Miami on Saturday night. 7 News Miami reports that the crash happened near the intersection with NW 107th Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Police say the incident occurred when a westbound Lexus sedan collided with an SUV. OPA-LOCKA, FL – A driver was airlifted to a hospital after slamming into a pole in Opa-Locka Sunday morning, WSVN reported. The crash occurred on Ali Baba Avenue and Johnson Street. According to video footage, the driver collided with a pole and transformer, crashing down immediately. Light and power workers were called to the scene for repairs. MIAMI, FL – A hit-and-run driver killed three people around 9:30 pm Monday in Miami, CBS Miami reported.  The collision happened on 79th Street Causeway, off Harbor Island, east of the North Bay Village. A local gas station camera shows a Dodge Charger driver going above the speed limit and crashing into another vehicle, which caught fire.  Miami-Dade police are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
